Sanguine Racing Services
Welcome to Sanguine Racing Services - PLEASE NOTE SANGUINE IS NO LONGER TRADING

Sanguine means up-beat, optimistic and that's how we feel about our involvement in racing.

Sanguin (in French) means bloodstock or thoroughbred, thus we feel the name very much reflects our aims.

We endeavour to bring affordable racing options to our owners. Our horses will race initially in South Australia where we are based, with campaigns interstate when justified by form.

Details and the PDS for our Blevic 2 year old gelding has also been included in the Click here.

Sanguine has purchased a yearling filly by Wonderful World out of Plath further details will follow when we have finalised paperwork for her.

Sanguine Racing Services is an authorised representative (Rep number 319238) of Sire Custodians Ltd AFSL number 223671

Another Winner for Sanguine

After many delays and setbacks Military Dan had his first start at Strathalbyn on October 1st.

Dan had been earmarked to commence racing at Port Lincoln but drew badly for the meeting which was subsequently abandoned. Earlier his preparation had been interrupted by a staking injury to the coronet.

Dan ridden by Justin Potter jumped well and after initially being amongst the leaders eased back into about fifth trailing the favourite Holy Shemoley. When the favourite commenced a run on the corner Dan followed him and soon burst to the lead and then he held off a late challenge from stablemate Our Danichi

More good results for Sanguine

Wednesday (September 7th) at Strathalbyn  produced a good result for Sanguine and for one of our privately owned horses.

Ravenhurst our Blevic grey returned from a spell to run a solid third. He showed plenty of heart to run on well in the straight and we would imagine that he will improve with race fitness. Video follows:

Later in the day Cruziero, who is owned by Michelle and I as members of a  partnership, lead all the way for an impressive win. His last preparation was extremely disappointing with a number of inconsistent performances. We think we may have found some answers to him and hope that this preparation will continue to be more successful
