Sanguine Racing Services
Welcome to Sanguine Racing Services

Sanguine means up-beat, optimistic and that's how we feel about our involvement in racing.

Sanguin (in French) means bloodstock or thoroughbred, thus we feel the name very much reflects our aims.

We endeavour to bring affordable racing options to our owners. Our horses will race initially in South Australia where we are based, with campaigns interstate when justified by form.

Currently we are syndicating three horses, check the Available Horses section for more details. All three horses have been through initial preparations and are getting close to racing so these syndicates must close soon. Please put your applications in so you don't miss out.

We have attended yearling sales recently and should soon have news regarding our new offerings, keep an eye on the website for more information.

Sanguine Racing Services is an authorised representative (Rep number 319238) of Sire Custodians Ltd AFSL number 223671

Broken gives Halo Homewrecker another city winner

The Darren Weir trained Broken won impressively at Morphettville Parks over 1000m on 20/06/09. This followed an excellent debut win at Swan Hill. Broken is by Halo Homewrecker out of the Spartacus mare Induct.

The success of the Halo Homewrecker stock and the fact that his first and only season returned only 39 live foals from 45 servings, means that his stock are now much sought after. We still have three shares left in our filly out of an unraced Snippets mare Gossip Maid (pictured below), be quick to secure this unique opportunity.

Noosa Bay a Doomben winner

Falvelon three year old Noosa Bay having her first start came down the outside with a strong run to win over 1200m at Doomben 17/6/09. This win took Falvelon's record this year to 55 winners from 145 starters, a very healthy 38% winner ratio. Currently Falvelon sits at 60 on the General Sires premiership table based on dollars won, and 8th on the Third Season sires list. This is a great achievement for a sire whose progeny race predominantly in Queensland.

We remind you that few of the Falvelon stock race as far south as South Australia but most that do have been successful. All the more reason to give serious thought to our two year old filly by Falvelon from Kamala Beach (Citidancer) pictured below.
