This brown filly is by promising first season sire Wonderful World. Her sire was a promising two year old winning two Sydney metropolitan races before running second in the Group 3 Blue Diamond Prelude and then third in the Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes. At three Wonderful World won the Group 1 Caulfield Guineas having previously saluted in the Group 3 Guineas Prelude and as an older horse ran second in the Group 1 Cox Plate and third in two Group 1 races, the Toorak Handicap  and the Rupert Clarke Stakes. With wins from 1100 m to 1600 m and a placing in the Cox Plate over 2040 m his race record stands at 15 starts for 4 wins 2 seconds and three thirds. Strikingly all but his first two starts were at Group or listed level and his total stakes money earnings were $1.373 million. During his career he was trained by the one and only Bart Cummings and owner by Dato Chin Nam of So You Think fame.

Our filly's dam Plath  (by Strategic) raced only twice and this filly is her first foal. The grand dam Heptonstall (by Octagonal) won five races, 3 on metropolitan tracks in Sydney and 1 at Group 3 The QLD Tatt's RC Winter Stakes. She won over distances up to 1500 m. Further down the our filly is descended from the famous Leica family with relatives including black type winners Leica Western, Leica Smile , Dansino, Zagreb,  Moon Dragon, Leica Jewel and Redding.

Our filly will be trained at Goolwa by David Jolly. There are 10 shares available in her for $2475 per share with nothing more to pay until September 2011. Training fees will then be charged at $250 per month.
