Halo Homewrecker was a sire by Southern Halo as is More Than Ready and like More Than Ready he is a grandson of Mr Prospector. This is the sire line that has produced Golden Slipper Winner Sebring and the pride of Port Augusta Augusta Proud. The filly's dam Gossip Maid is an unraced SNIPPETS mare and is related to ROQUIN, PATPONG, LADY MARITA, CHEVAL PALACE (by SNIPPETS) and SNIPPET'S GIRL (also by SNIPPETS).

Halo Mistres ran a creditable third at her first start on 20/01/10 and followed up with a second in Mid February.

She returned to racing with a sixth at Morphettvile Parks where she displayed some dislike for the soft track

She won at start 4 over 1100m at Port Augusta 22/07/10.

Halo Mistress ran again at Port Augusta on 26/08/10 where she was out gunned for speed from a wide draw and ran a dispapointing race. She suffered a cut leg during the race and then was found to be shin sore a week later.

We have now sent her to Port Lincoln with Simon Drewitt to recuperate and then race there for their season. Unfortunately after one start at Port Lincoln Halo Mistress had problems with lameness and was finally diagnosed with Navicular Disease and has been retired.
