Saturday 6/6/09 saw Bertolini register an Australian stakes placing when his four year old gelding Trustus ran third in the A J Creswick Stakes (listed) over 1200m at Flemington. This result took his earnings to just over $140,000 from 14 starts with 3 wins, 1 second and 3 thirds.

Trustus followed up the next weekend 13/6/09 with a strong win over 1400m at Sandown, increasing his earnings to over $180,000

Bertolini's stock in Australia are relatively uncommon as he stood for several seasons in New Zealand thus making our gelding (out of Nagina by Rory's Jester) an attractive proposition.
