Halo Mistress showed continuing promise with a convincing second behind runaway winner Globalwarmnsceptic at Naracoorte today 14/2 over 1000m.

The winner's run was less than a second outside the track record, so was a big run, winning by about 5.5 lengths.

Our filly ran up to the winner on the home turn but it soon became obvious that the other horse had more in the tank and he cruised away to win. There was three and a half lengths between seconnd and third.
