Red Centurion runs excellent fourth PDF Print E-mail

After a somewhat chequered start to his racing career Red Centurion went to Strath on 17/2 and turned in an excellent performance.

He was noticeably calmer in the tie-ups before the race, and without blinkers he seemed more settled.

He jumped well from his wide barrier and soon went to the lead. Jockey Libby Hopwood tried hard to get him in behind the leaders but could not. The pace was quick and he was taken on in the lead by two other runners.

On the turn he had beaten off the others and went to a clear lead only to be run over by the swoopers over the last 50 meters of the race.

He pulled up well and we are confident that he is heading in the right direction.

There are still two shares available in him at the current price of approximately $3000 per share plus training fees of $4500 until May 2010. Be quick because if he goes on to win a race in the next few weeks the price will go up appreciably.
